Thursday thing-along ... with a point
YouTube has now permanently disabled my brothersgentry account for another claim of copyright infringement. This one supposedly came from Comedy Central Property over use of a Cartman toy and theme song. Effing ridiculous, but that's the way the game is now being played. So any of the videos I had uploaded to YouTube on that account will no longer be available. I do have copies and may reload popular ones on another account and repost them. But for now, I'm moving on with a new YouTube account and new upload services I have already been using -- Vimeo, Videoegg and others -- because The Clash said it best in today's thing-along video:

That totally sucks! Sorry to hear that. though, your "thing-a-long" fit perfect! Oh well! Just go around the law next time...:)
*flippin' YouTube the bird...*
Here's what you do (from someone who deals with this excrement all day long - as you didn't use the ACTUAL cartoon, and didn't alter the cartoon images or do a voice-over that sounds exactly like Cartman et al, what you have here is "Fair Use" under Sections 107 through 118 of the US Copyright Act (title 17, U. S. Code). Write, don't email, You Tube a letter quoting this section and they'll re-enable your account. Peace.
Just posted the last comment, didn't realize I could put my bloody name on the thing!
Thanks Darryl .... and belated congrats
