Trying to light the path back home

The night Natalie and I drove around looking at Christmas lights and decorations, I forgot we shot this little piece of video. I added a taste of Mel Torme to it for your listening pleasure.



I love the way the lighting was designed to light up the cables.
This is the Del. 1 bridge over the C&D Canal. It's officially the Senator William V. Roth Bridge, but unless they shorten that to something like the Billy Roth Bridge, no one will ever call it that.

There are six crossings of the canal, five for cars and one for trains. That includes the Chesapeake City Bridge -- the one which runs behind our home and over the two sides of our town.
