Kitty cats get some camera time
Toby gets a lot of camera time because he's a ham. But he's not the only animal in this house. Above is Maybelline, one of our cats. She's a calico with longish hair and a crooked jaw that comes courtesy of a dog clamping down on her head when she was a kitten. It was a hunting dog that thought she was a rabbit -- totally accidental but left her a bit skittish at first around people. But she warms up fast.
At right is a picture of Parker. She was sleeping up under the Christmas tree and climbed out when she saw me taking pictures of Maybelline. Parker used to be a skinny little thing. Then she got fixed and the next thing I knew, she was part cat, part pot-bellied pig. She's incredibly loving and enjoys climbing up on my stomach almost as if to say -- "Hey bud, you got no room to talk about being part pot-bellied pig. Look at this thing I'm sitting on up here."
And this last photo is just a preview of what's to come. The decorating is in full swing here in our casa. I'll put up more photos later to give you a better taste of the transformation Natalie likes to put our home through for the holidays. She's only just begun.

Ooh ooh more pictures of that stunning tree behind Parker please! Did Martha do that?
Hey...can N-Gen come over to my house and decorate my tree?!?
Henny Penny (aka Henrietta Moneypenny) says "Meow" to Maybelline and Parker. Did I tell you that her story, From Dumpster to Diva, was just picked up by a major publisher?!?!
