So much for gettin' things done outside today

Click HereIt's friggin' pouring right now....
And then there's this from the weather service.... Let's just hope it's done by Saturday...

Statement as of 5:47 AM EDT on June 22, 2006

... Increasing temperatures and humidities today...
... Severe thunderstorms possible today and again on
Friday...

Southwest surface winds, ahead of a strong cold front, will bring both warmer temperatures and a more humid airmass to our area today. High temperatures this afternoon are forecast to be in the lower 90s across the Delaware valley and the Delmarva, and in the mid 80s to around 90 degrees elsewhere.

Along with the increased heat and humidity, instability will also be on the rise today. Because of this, showers and thunderstorms are expected. Some could be on the strong side or even severe. More showers and thunderstorms are expected on Friday as the cold front moves into the northern mid-Atlantic region. Once again, some of
tomorrow's thunderstorms could turn strong or even severe.

Stay tuned to NOAA Weather Radio all hazards or your local media in case severe weather warnings are issued.
