Way Back When-sday

I'm not exactly sure if being politically correct was even a thing in 1970 when these photos were taken. In the top photo, I'm to the left, Stephen is to the right and our friend, David, is in the center. We're dressed in our Indian/Native American paints and headbands. I'm betting the underwear is good old Fruit of the Loom. In the smaller photo to the right, we're standing on a picnic table holding toy tomahawks during a trip to the mountains of North Carolina. I'm to the left, Stephen is in the middle and David is to the right. Our family does have Cherokee in our blood line ... but David has no excuse for his actions at all.
Written on the back of the top photo is this:

May 23, 1970
Jeffrey, David, Stephen
These are my real Indians. Afer the picture was taken, they started doing a war dance!

Be sure to check out this Way Back When-sday from Mara.

We did ... She and Pops are still cool, just older versions of the same coolness.
