Way Back When-sday

It rained almost all day here Tuesday, inspiring today's Way Back When-sday pictures. In the one above, I am sitting under a golf umbrella between Michelle Connolly (left, a neighbor) and Stephen during a rainstorm on May 25, 1970. I'm not sure why Stephen and I have Ping-Pong paddles with us.


In the photo to the right, Stephen (left) and I wear our new raincoats and hats while practicing a little golf. I sure hope there wasn't any lightning at the time.


A quick read of the back of the photo shows we really liked these coats. The top handwriting is Mama's. The bottom handwriting with our names, date and the town is Daddy's.
