More photos from Tilghman Island Day

As promised, here's a slideshow of photos from Tilghman Island Day in Tilghman Island, Md.

Although this picture was taken in St. Michaels, Md., on our way home from Tilghman Island, Natalie also took photos of a bunch of the dogs we saw at Tilghman Island Day. Click here to see that slideshow.

Those oysters look divine...but I don't see any Tabasco or lemon wedges...oysters without those two things are just wrong.

Wrong, I tell you.

My husband and I are going to St. Michaels for our wedding anniversary next month. We're staying in a Victorian B&B that was built in 1883. Can't wait!

Glad you enjoyed your day at Tilghman Island. The Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum is having an Oyster Fest on November 4th. Sounds like it's right up your alley!

Bed & Breakfasts freak me out a bit. Especially those shared bath types. Although I'm sure Natalie would love it, I would be inclined to decline a B&B in favor of a hotel -- unless the room at the B&B had its own bathroom. But I'm sure y'all aren't as squeamish as I am about that and will have fun. ... As for the Oyster Fest, that's the same time as camping/backpacking on the AT.

This is my first time in a B&B. I m only doing it because I know all the rooms have their own bathroom. Wow! I can't believe that tradition is still alive. Have fun!
