Can't -- the word is not in their vocabulary
Mama sent me a link to this video. If you don't cry or at least feel some pang of emotion after watching this, you should get yourself in Ripley's Believe It or Not as the only human being to live without the aid of a heart ...
I remember seeing a short piece on this father and son team on HBO's Real Sports a while back. It was nice to be reminded of their story.

I bawled the first time I saw this video. I am currently training for my third marathon, and I think about them everytime I run!
This video is amazing! I wish I would have thought to put it on my blog! Thanks for sharing with the world!
Sobbed like Jeffrey, er, like a baby. I saw a story on them about a year ago. Really gives you a perspective on the infinate love a parent can have for their kid. He's an old dude, but nothing will stop him from giving his kid the experience, despite everything. A 60+ year old father running full speed with his grown son in his arms...
I had a beautiful 6 mile run late this morning on the river. Thank god.
I remember seeing it on Real Sports and crying like a baby...(I learned from an expert) then I called my husband and told him all about it. Of course he had already seen it. That show gets me everytime time...that darn Bryant Gumble. He's lucky to have such a great dad!
It's good to see y'all sharing how the Hoyt's story made each of you feel .... I can not make it all the way to the end of the video without tearing up. It's so inspiring....
