It's all in how you look at things

Are you young enough to remember:

  • when a downpour was something to run out into and not away from?
  • when rain meant splashing in puddles not pumping out a cellar?
  • when you could catch drops of rain on your tongue and not wonder what power plant the cloud may have passed over?
Shannen, one of my nieces, and her friend gave me a quick little reminder of those times during an early-afternoon storm on the Fourth of July. I share it with you.



I'm going to try to take that as a reminder that not everything has to be taken so seriously ....
